|Fall foliage, also known as kōyō or momiji, are to the Japanese
autumn what cherry blossoms is to the spring. Colorful Maple
and Ginkgo trees turn vibrant shades of red, orange, and
yellow. From mid-September through early December, the “kōyō
front” slowly moves southward throughout Japan. Here are some
